One of the festival highlights is the flying kite competitions that take place in late April on Fuyan Mountain, on the beach beside the Bohai Sea or can be in Weifang’s romantically named Municipal Government Square.
The International Kite Competition has attracted more than 100 teams from countries all over the world. For us, we will have the chance to see a dazzling display of thousands of fabulous kites aloft simultaneously and soaring against the blue sky!
