My friend, Lydia recently traveled to the fascinating island of Oceania with her family on their last holiday, and came back agreed with many experienced travelers who have voted South Island, New Zealand as the most scenic place on earth.
Lydia told me that their trip took them to the Mount Cook vicinity where they had the chance to feel the glacier under their feet and were in awe of the surrounding snow capped mountains and the vast expanse of ice and snow.
“As we traveled south, we were fascinated by the majestic mountains which dominated the skyline. They were skirted by beautiful pristine lakes and wild flowers were everywhere. It was a stunning sight we wouldn’t want to miss. Our next destination was Fiordland. The Milford Sound Cruise took us to breathtaking spots such as cascading waterfalls, towering rock cliffs and luxuriant forests. We even saw colonies of seals sunbathing on rocks,” recalls Lydia.
No wonder for Lydia and her family, they had the most wonderful holiday replete with lasting memories.
Think you will likely like them vow to return to those interesting and scenic places in New Zealand once been there!
