Want to visit the best preserved cities in Europe? How about the ideas of visiting all of its attractions within walking distance of one another?
One such interesting place I can think of is Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. Many who have visited the places of interest there considered it as one of their favorite European city. You may want to know that Prague is a city that has survived the centuries with its medieval architecture intact, and is recognized as one of the best-preserved cities in Europe until now.
My friend Richer Choo who has been there before, came back telling me that the best part about Prague is that all of its attractions are situated within walking distance of one another. For example, from the magnificent Prague Castle to Wenceslas Square in the heart of the city, only one day is needed to explore the entire city.
What is the must see? Well, guess no other than Charles Bridge! A popular landmark where many blockbuster movies have been filmed, i.e. xXx where starring Vin Diesel and the James Bond film, Casino Royale. You may not know that Charles Bridge is a stone Gothic bridge that was constructed in the 14th Century and has statues erected on either side of it. The most popular statue is the one of St John of Nepomuk, i.e. a Czech martyr saint. It is believed that touching the statue can bring good luck as well as ensuring our return to Prague!
Having heard from him about this beautiful city, I think I ought to give Prague a good rub and to visit it someday soon!
