During the day you can take advantage of the various soft, sandy beaches to sunbathe and relax, or, if you want to explore the area, head off inland to banana plantations or go for a hike and experience the spectacular views – ideal if you want to live the true backpacker life. However, if you love the water, then try windsurfing, scuba diving or screaming on the banana boat as you bounce over the waves on the warm, clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. A visit to a water park is also a must, as not only do you get the thrill of the slides, it’s also a great way to keep cool while soaking up some of that constant sunshine!

For those who have worked up an appetite from all the partying there are plenty of late night delicacies available to ensure that the serious reveler never goes hungry! The nightlife is vibrant; from cabaret to karaoke, head to The Patch, Veronicas or Starco and there will be a vast array of entertainment to suit all tastes. Many of the areas are pedestrianised, well populated and well policed so it’s a very safe environment for partygoers of all ages.
