During the day you can take advantage of the various soft, sandy beaches to sunbathe and relax, or, if you want to explore the area, head off inland to banana plantations or go for a hike and experience the spectacular views – ideal if you want to live the true backpacker life. However, if you love the water, then try windsurfing, scuba diving or screaming on the banana boat as you bounce over the waves on the warm, clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Many of the areas are pedestrianised, well populated and well policed so it’s a very safe environment for partygoers of all ages.
