The name sounds strange, but it is true there is such a festival and it is happening every year throughout July in Montreal, Quebec of North America Canada.

From its humble origins in 1983, it has now become a premier comedy festival in the world. The event has attracted Hollywood A-listers and top comedy acts from Europe.
The “Just for Laughs Festival” was the platform for the inauguration of the “Just for Laughs Film Festival” in 1990s to showcase short independent film makers and new work from top animators.
