Depending on how much time you have, and how interested your children are in dolphins you can attend a performance and/or take an educational class.
You should also make sure not to miss Turkuazoo Underwater World, the only 8,000 square meter aquarium in all of Turkey. You will feel like you are one of the fish when in the acrylic tunnel that is 80 meters long. Sea animals in the aquarium include turtles, sharks, sea horses and fish from the rainforests.
Are you into more the arts?
Lola’s Art Center is a multicultural center which encourages both parents and children to think outside the box. Enjoy making whatever you would like in their open studio, whether it’s a space machine from recycled paper or a doghouse. The center also includes a book center and library where you can attend workshops, puppet shows, and story readings.
Spend the evening watching a performance at Speech Bubbles. Amateur and professional actors, musicians and singers from the International and Turkish community in Istanbul come together for performances. Money from the performances is donated to Turkish education and children causes.
In between attractions, eat cupcakes at the Istanbul Cupcake Factory. The cupcakes are spongy without being too moist and it didn’t have a dry crumbliness. Make sure to taste, Miss Lemon, made with lemon filling and lemon frosting.
