The above photo was taken in Feng Qing Yuan/Cha Yuan Cun of Hangzhou, where we had the chance to try the famous local Longjing Tea (also known as Dragon Well green tea, is the crown of Chinese teas). You may want to know that the Dragon Well green tea is only produced near the beautiful West Lake of Hangzhou. The people in charge told us that the tea is meticulously prepared from the tender leaves by traditional technique, and is known for its emerald green color, fragrant and fresh aroma, mellow and sweetish taste. May be because of that, I did buy and bring home some for own consumption.
However, this is still not the place for buying ceramic tea-pot. Ceramic pot is said to contain a lot of iron elements and other micro chemical elements which are beneficial to human body. So, where can I have it? The Red Earthen Wuxi Art Studio in Wuxi. Not cheap, but I like it and think is worth to spend on it!
The photos were taken in a restaurant at lunch time before we head on to a place where the descendants of Sun Yat-sen (i.e. the previous president of Republic of China) are staying. (Hopefully what I say here is correct, like I said, I never pay attention to what the tour guide said!).
Following were some of the photos taken during our visit to Mr. Sun Yat-sen’s place, actually, it is like a small village with a lot of things look under developed!
From the above photo, we can see that there was a woman washing clothes near the river stream, can you imagine!
Although it is a small village, it took us 4 hours to tour around this place, in fact, we were walking around!
