Fontana Contarini
Fontana Contarini is the only fountain located in the city center of Bergamo. It consists of one big reservoir of water and two small ones. Fontana Contarini is made with marble. Clean water is flowing from the mouth of two sphinxes which are symmetrically placed.
Around the main tank you can see the snakes and lions which are the symbol of Venice. If you are hungry you can visit restaurant “Colleoni dell’Angelo” situated just opposite to the fountain.
